The Retreat at Balcones Springs

Soon after graduating, I was hired as an Event Chef/Pastry Chef for The Retreat at Balcones Springs, which is a beautiful wedding venue that serves as a beloved children's camp in the summer. I am incredibly grateful for this job for numerous reasons, notably the creative freedom I had. I met one of my first mentors, now my great friend, Abigail Cummings- who trusted to explore creatively with food and desserts and really open my mind to the limitlessness of this career.
